Where do you go for direction and healing?
Enjoying God's presence.
Growing in surrender.
We are a church that believes prayer changes us and helps to set our lives on course.
When & Where:
1. Call to set up a time with a pastor or prayer team member, or
2. Ask for prayer at the end of our Sunday worship service.
Pastor Lowell Busman
SVC, or a location you choose together
God cares about our emotional and physical needs, and he is actively involved with addressing these needs in our lives.
God Will Work
James 5:13-15 encourages us with the following:
“Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray... Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.…” (NIV)
What Actually Happens?
The pastor or prayer team member will ask you what it is you would like prayer for. You can feel free to share as much or little as you want.
The Leader Prays
After you have shared, the one praying will lay their hand on your shoulder (if you are comfortable with this) and then start to talk to God about this problem on your behalf.
Finish or Go Deeper
Generally this only takes a few minutes, but if there are some deeper wounds that you would like to discuss in-depth, there may be process or prayer followed by talking and time in scripture together, and then more prayer.
Would you like to request that we pray for you?
You can either meet with us for prayer or just tell us what your prayer request is and we will lift it up during our weekly church prayer time.
