Sunday's Children's Schedule

Includes: Short Bible Lesson, and related activity, and "free" play time.

11:15 AM - Nursery (ages 0-4)
11:15 AM - Jr. Church (Ages 4-12)

Nursery is attached to the "Commons," Jr Church is held in the "Commons", and the Teen Small Group is held in the ESL Room in the CXI House
(Gray house behind the church).

Many of our children have moved to Minneapolis from overseas, so we work hard to provide curriculum and teaching that will be understood even for those with beginning level English skills.

Jr. Church @ SVC

Do you want your child to grow in a basic understanding of what it means to know Jesus?

Through songs, Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and solid Biblical curriculum your child will grow in both knowledge and experience of core truths as well as better understand what it means to have a relationship with Christ.

Current Curriculum

Sunday School - Ages 5 - 13

Our Current series looks at how Bible stories and Bible Characters exhibited these three characteristics:
     • Diligence—Focusing on the work God has given me
     • Faithfulness—Staying true to God and his purpose for me
     • Gratitude—Expressing thanks no matter how I feel

Character by God's Design - Volume 1

It truly has been a blessing to work with the children and families at Stadium Village Church. Even though I’m starting a new part of my journey, I will continue to pray for you and cheer you on as you continue your faith journey.

’That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!’ - Ephesians 1:15-19 MSG

Nursery Worker

Ali H.jpg

Ali is a graduate from the University of Minnesota with a degree in dance and business. She loves kids and the simple (and yes crazy) spirit they bring into the room! She has loved her previous jobs as a camp counselor, snowboard instructor, nanny, and dance teacher. When she’s not dancing, she enjoys long bike rides through the brisky Minnesota air.

Children are our future and a ‘gift from the Lord’ to be treasured.
— Psalm 127:3

Nursery Worker

Jacquelina Hui-Chung Lim

New Mama Robyn loves working with our nursery and toddler aged children!

Jacquelina is a fresh gradute in Child Psychology from UMN. Being the second oldest amongst her siblings and cousins, educating children has always been her passion. As an extrovert and someone with an excessive amount of energy, it is almost necessery to have children as a buffer to not make her interactions with normal energized humans overwhelming. When she's not with children, she enjoys hanging out with people and doing fun activites like playing board games, rock climbing, cycling, hiking, camping, but never ask her to go on a run; she greatly dislikes running and will gladly walk with you.
